Mid-April:

  • Reserve space for print ads you may want to run in your local newspaper.
  • Discuss airing AMSA’s public service announcements with local radio stations.
  • Contact your schools about possible Career Day appearances.
  • Issue a local news release pegged to National Moving Month.

Late April:

  • Post our "May is National Moving Month" banner on your Web site.
  • Create a special page on your Web site touting the benefits of hiring a ProMover using AMSA-provided content: banner, video, promotional copy, links, images!
  • Post our ProMover one-page flyer on your website, put it in your e-newsletter and distribute to potential customers.

Early May:

  • Run local newspaper and radio advertisements tied to the moving season.
  • Schedule an appearance with a local civic group to discuss the moving industry.

Throughout the summer:

  • Outfit your sales staff and moving crews with official ProMover gear from AMSA.
  • Get involved with a local charity and give back to your community.
  • Add the ProMover logo to your trucks and building signage.
