ALEXANDRIA, Va. – Find the latest tips and tools to help plan a move from start to finish at the newly re-launched Moving.org, created by the American Moving & Storage Association. Consumers can get free referrals for certified professional movers to schedule free in-home estimates for the move. The website also has been completely refreshed with a new look and enhanced design.

Moving.org now offers a wealth of newly-updated information and resources, including:

  • Certified ProMovers. Quickly and easily get referrals for professional moving companies searching by ZIP code, completing a short online form, or reviewing the A-Z list of more than 2,800 certified ProMovers.
  • Moving 101. Find helpful articles and easy-to-understand infographics for a wide variety of topics, from choosing a mover to packing items in boxes to understanding how to value household goods and insure them, and much more. There’s also a new video highlighting valuable advice for consumers.
  • Free Publications. Order copies of three important publications to make the move go smoothly. These include: Guide to a Satisfying Move; A Consumer's Guide to Moving with Children, Pets, Plants and Home Electronics; and Trust Your Move to a ProMover.
