Interstate Movers - Become a ProMover!
Intrastate / Agent Movers
International Movers
Interstate movers must have a valid interstate operating certificate from the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) and a license to transport used household and office goods across state lines under their own (common carrier) authority. Download a membership application here.
Interstate movers who would like AMSA to provide them process agent service can download an interactive BOC-3 form here.
In order for an interstate carrier to become a ProMover, they must pass AMSA's 7-point background check. Upon approval, carriers with a brand new operating authority will be granted AMSA membership, but must be an active Compliance Member for 12 months before gaining ProMover status.
