In the past 35 years, over 2000 sales professionals have become Certified Moving Consultants; all receive certificates, credentials, and listing on AMSA's consumer website www.moving.org. A $100 application fee provides applicants with one copy of the CMC manual and permits two attempts to pass the test. After you pass the test, a $125 yearly maintenance fee will keep your credentials current.

For an additional $50 per person, packers/loaders can take AMSA's packer/loader test and be certified, which allows them to wear CPL merchandise (patches, etc.), demonstrating their credentials to customers.
RIM® is a comprehensive certification program that establishes industry standards and procedures to alleviate inconsistency in service standards. This programs provides customers with an independent standard for identifying the most qualified moving companies worldwide. Available in English or Spanish. The videos and study guides used in the RIM® Certification Program are also available to AMSA members to train employees for international moving operations.
