For her contributions in the area of claims education
and training.
Estelle began her career in the moving industry
with Interstate Van Lines in 1976. Estelle started
with the company in the customer service department
and as an assistant to senior management. Within
a few years she was given responsibility in managing
the the entire Claims and Customer Service departement.
During her years at Intersate, Estelle authored
the first formal Claims Training Program for the
industry. She left Interstate in 1989 to accept
a position with the National Moving and Storage
Association where she served as Vice President until
it's merger with the American Moving and Storage
Association in 1998. While in the Association community,
Estelle continued her work to provide quality training
programs to the moving and storage industry. |

areas of claims adjusting and prevention, she chaired
several committees representing the moving and storage
industry on various government and military issues.
She served as an expert witness for the Department
of Defense and was a member of the Board of Directors
for the Claims Prevention and Procedure Council.
During her years at NMSA, she also managed the annual

monthly magazine and biweekly newspaper. She continued
to enhance the Certified Claims Analyst course that
she developed and taught and authored several additional
industry training manuals.
Prior to working in the moving industry, Estelle
was a devoted military wife and mother. She truly
valued the opportunity to assist other military
families through her years in the moving and storage
business.
